An offering by Intimacy Director Zoe Burke, whose intimacy work has been seen in a variety of Santa Fe theatres since March 2020, most recently in Spring Awakening (Tri-M Productions), as well as Pericles and The Winter’s Tale (International Shakespeare Center). During this demonstration, she will teach elements of intimacy work in the theatre, including an introduction to staging tools to establish boundaries, create chemistry, consensually develop choreography, and leave a role in the space, culminating in a demonstration with guest artists on how these elements can be applied to contemporary and classical work.
